Check out the shareware "Lost Episodes" patch on Colonel Bill's homepage, it should give you a good idea of what Mission 2 and 3 are like. Here's the link:

Yeah, only Colonel Bill's levels are much better than the official sets... The LEs are actually pretty enjoyable then.

Btw, that was one of the first "add-ons" I ever played, Chris, along with pretty much everything else off of Col. Bill's site. His shareware level sets were pretty good, if my memory serves right (of course, my taste has changed today, and maybe I'll play them again after all these years and absolutely want to throw up). At any rate, they're not a bad starter for people new to Wolf mods. I myself should take a revisit to Bill's sets again soon...

Please try to state your opinion a little more civil, if you would. Simply saying a game "sucks ass" without really giving a reason for your disliking it just makes you come across as a jerk and is a good way to start a flamewar around here. I really don't like to see games or authors bashed to hell like that... A better phrasing would be "I didn't like it, because of x and y reasons, but I did like this z game". I don't mean to be a hard-ass right now, but your comments just came off as really negative and rubbed me wrong.

However you go about it, remember that everyone has different taste. We'll never prevent World War III with that attitude

Now you've just changed your original post from "it suck ass!" to "It's not the best quality". In doing so, you completely change the context of your original post and make my follow up post look like I'm just coming down on you for no reason. Cute. Maybe that wasn't your intention, but it sure looks bad. And you still haven't said what exactly it is about Colonel Bill's original set that you disliked, so you still come across as arrogant and newbieish.

Editing posts like that is generally frowned upon on this forum. It's ok to edit for spelling mistakes or to include a piece of information you forgot to put in, but when you completely change the context of a message like that it looks like you're just trying to squirm out of what you originally said. Whatever, man

SOD2 and SOD3 ARE "The Lost Episodes", and you would've found out where to get them if you had completely read this thread.

Im curious... does the real Lost Episodes have source code changes? or just a bunch of levels, graphics and sounds. Also is there any new music, Title screen or VGA images? Just curious as the 2 unofficial lost episode games i played (Colonel Bills and Kyles) only provided new Walls, sprites, levels and sounds.

Both of the Lost Episodes act just like Spear would - only with new walls, sounds and levels. Nothing else is changed. The title screen on both display Spear's, the ending is the same on both and even the original boss names are displayed after killing the new guys.

Colonel Bill's and Kyle's level sets give you an idea of what to expect in the real Lost Episodes, only with better levels to play through.

Well they didn't!

Most say the Lost Episodes were a last-ditch effort to keep Formgen going before they were bought out by Atari. I can believe this, but the workers can't have been motivated to produce such a pair of losers.

If you really want both sets of missions, you can find them on the internet if you look long and hard, as I have seen them many times.

Both are identical bar the level design.
