Greetings, fellow Wolfers, and welcome to
"Project: Liftwaffe"!

This is a short and sweet SDL mod, only 5 levels long, with new graphics, new sounds, new music, some new features, including increased ammo limit, different ammo type for the chaingun, and some other minor changes.

There is really nothing else to say about this mod other than it's essentially a joke mod, originally intended to be released on the 1st of April, due to its general theme: elevators. You'll see when you get to level 3. :)

Because fast doors are a DMBF exclusive feature. :) I didn't find it necessary to change the door opening speed this time, I think it's kinda needed to be this slow here due to the baton guards. They can open doors as well and they can quickly surround you if you are not careful enough. You would have less reaction time with faster doors.

I love this mod! Graphics on point, MK3 sounds, don’t even get me started on the awesome music and adlib sounds. 10/10

So the title seems to trip something up on Fandom if I include the colon, so I moved it to just Project Liftwaffe.

With colon it seems to think it should be in the domain for wiki specific pages (translates it to Wolfenstein 3D Wiki:Liftwaffe).

Awesome mod! It was nice to sort of see this build up gradually over discussions on the fugitives server, and seeing the end result is quite satisfying. I really like the baton guard, pretty cool idea, and the overall level design is well done. I’ll definitely replay this again sometime.

Thank you everyone for playing. :) Despite of the technical difficulties I think I had the most fun making this one so far.

Thank you for that. They keep changing the editor and it's getting weirder and werider to use. Something I knew how to do before becomes irrelevant after an update... quite annoying...

Thank you Orka - just finished Liftwaffe and I was impressed 8) Has quite enough to be a 'serious' mod.

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) Regarding the gimmick of this whole mod, I think calling this a joke mod fits better. A whole level that's just one big elevator, or the weapon that consumes "floors" as ammo should not be taken seriously.
